We Will Continue to Produce with Passion, Excitement, and Pride in the New Century

 

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of our Republic, which was declared on October 29, 1923, following the tremendous victory in the struggle for our nation’s liberty and future, we wish everyone a happy anniversary. We remember Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the great leader who brought the existence of this excitement and pride in us, and all the veterans and martyrs who fought for this cause with gratitude and respect.

As the world’s fifth-largest producer of firearms, we are growing to become one of the strongest brands in Türkiye’s defense and aerospace sector in the 100th year of our Republic. Our sector challenges the entire world, and it will contribute to the formation of a stronger Türkiye as our country prepares for its new century.

We believe that the Eternal Turkish State, founded 2232 years ago by Mete Han under ancient customs, and transitioned to a secular Republic under the leadership of our Great Leader ATATÜRK, will certainly achieve greater successes in the next century, uniting society under our common values. We celebrate the 25th anniversary of Samsun Yurt Savunma’s (SYS) establishment in the 100th year of the Republic with pride and joy. Our defense and aerospace sector was founded with investments made in the early years of the Republic, and in the last 25 years, it has become a force that challenges the world, realizing Atatürk’s vision of a national and domestic industry. As SYS group companies, we will continue to grow, especially with our CANiK brand and new investments, on this significant milestone. In the Republic’s new century, we will continue to invest and produce with passion, excitement, and pride.

 

“We Are Developing the Products of the Future”

We are designing, developing, and producing the products, services, and solutions of the future in the defense and aerospace sector, and continuing our journey with the mission of implementing efficient smart processes by investing in talented human resources, in line with our vision to become a global brand on the world stage.

In the last quarter of the year, we reached all corners of the world, sharing our native and national technologies with our friends and allies, in line with our mission. We successfully represented our country by showcasing the latest technologies of our defense and aerospace industry at fairs in Poland, the United Kingdom, France, Thailand, the United States, and last but not least, Egypt.

Another significant development for SYS group companies this year was our collaboration with one of our country’s successful armored vehicle manufacturers, Nurol Makina. The EJDER YALÇIN 4 × 4 tactical wheeled armored vehicle from Nurol Makina was equipped with the TRAKON turret developed by our group company UNIROBOTICS and armed with the VENOM LR 30 × 113 mm cannon developed by AEI Systems, and the initial firing tests were successfully completed. Thus, two strong Turkish companies have provided a solution far more powerful than their counterparts in the world.
