CANiK Hosts AMAC Member Military Attachés in Samsun
CANiK hosted military attachés at its facilities as part of the traditional Fall Conference of the Ankara Military Attaché Corps (AMAC), held in Samsun this year in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic. H. Zafer Aral, Chairman of the Board of SYS, and Didem Aral, Member of the Board Responsible for Foreign Trade of SYS, provided detailed information about the company and the defense technologies it develops to the guests.
The traditional AMAC Fall Conference of the Ankara Military Attaché Corps was held in Samsun this year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Republic. CANiK sponsored the event and welcomed military attachés to its facilities, showcasing its production capabilities as well as products it develops for the defense and aerospace industry. Hosts H. Zafer Aral and Didem Aral shared information about the company's history, group companies, and the cutting-edge products under production.
Meeting for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic
H. Zafer Aral, Chairman of the Board of SYS, said, "Hosting our esteemed guests in Samsun, our hometown, during the 100th anniversary of our Republic is very important for us as a Samsun-based company. We had the opportunity to showcase our capabilities to our esteemed guests representing their countries from around the world. Military attachés saw CANiK’s significant mass production capacity. They asked various questions about our heavy-caliber weapons, especially the groundbreaking VENOM LR and CANiK M3, and received satisfying answers."

In her presentation to the military attachés, Didem Aral highlighted CANiK’s status as one of the world's most important developers of defense technologies and shared solutions offered by SYS group companies, including CANiK. Aral mentioned that law enforcement agencies in many countries prefer CANiK products, saying, "We have a wide range of products from pistols to medium-caliber weapons. Our ecosystem allows users to procure all products needed in the defense and aerospace industry from a single center."
All Needs Met from a Single Center
Aral informed attachés and other visitors about group companies CANiK, AEI Systems, and UNIROBOTICS, as well as MECANiK and CANiK Academy with the following words: “With a broad spectrum of firearm and weapons systems design and production by CANiK and AEI Systems; remote-controlled weapon system (RCWS) design and production by UNIROBOTICS; weapon accessories by MECANiK; and training/consultancy services by CANiK Academy, we have created a highly efficient and extensive ecosystem. The military attachés also used CANiK firearms and shot them during the tour. Didem Aral emphasized the importance of military attachés personally experiencing CANiK products as follows: “They have learned our products much better and experienced the comfort and firing power of the firearms. We received very positive feedback, confirming we are on the right track. This visit is a win for both Türkiye and Samsun, as many representatives from different countries experienced what CANiK is all about.”
