It was over cups of Turkish coffee, exchanged between Pretoria, Istanbul, and Nuremberg, that the vision for the Rugby SFT was born.
It was over cups of Turkish coffee, exchanged between Pretoria, Istanbul, and Nuremberg, that the vision for the Rugby SFT was born. From its initial conception to a detailed blueprint, it took a year to witness the precision production of 1889 pistols at the CANiK factory in Samsun in August 2023.
Why the number 1889? The sport of rugby, originating in 1823 in England, captured the hearts of many. South Africa, a nation united by this sport, embraced it in the later 19th century, culminating in their inaugural inter-provincial championship in 1889. The production amount of the pistols, signifies this historical moment.
This endeavor's success was greatly attributed to the SYS team's unwavering professionalism. It's one thing to admire a product, and quite another to be included in its creation story. This experience made us feel a sense of renewed appreciation for the craftspeople behind these masterpieces.
The Mete SFT emerged as the ideal base model, offering buyers a multifaceted gem.
