In this issue, we will be sharing our press releases regarding the fairs we attended to be close with you.
Our mother company, Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS), has been active in defence industry since 1998. Although CANiK is the most well-known global brand of SYS, there are also Unidef, Unirobotics, CANiK ACADEMY and MECANIK companies and brands in its ecosystem. Our company focused on pistols in the first years of its founding, branching off to the so-called “anti-air” heavy machine guns. CANiK is producing a pistol in roughly a single minute, reaching a yearly 450,000 production volume. Our company is the 7th biggest company in the world in its field and makes up 75 percent of all Turkish pistol exports alone. Our company also exports 95 percent of all its production, exporting them to 68 countries.
As you may remember, we left behind our first two issues. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all our readers and stakeholders for the great interest you have shown. Now we are here with the third issue of CANiK News. This brand new issue of CANiK News has been a different experience for us, and will be presented to you with amazing content.
