Through the programs offered by CANiK ACADEMY, we are committed to promoting responsible firearm ownership by preventing accidents, raising public awareness, and fostering strong habits grounded in safety and accountability.
While the right to own a firearm is protected by law, a lack of proper training and understanding can lead to significant risks. It is not the firearm itself that poses a danger, but the absence of the knowledge and responsibility required to handle it safely.
Our mission is not only to provide our users with technical proficiency, but also to instill in them a culture of safety, ethical responsibility, and unwavering accountability.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 85,000 individuals sought emergency treatment for firearm-related injuries in 2015, resulting in over 36,000 deaths (GAO, 2017). Of these fatalities, 61% were suicides, 30% were homicides, and 9% were accidental. Notably, a significant number of accidental incidents were attributed to unsecured and easily accessible Firearms.
