FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Dear CANiK Family, It is with deep sorrow that I begin by sharing the heartbreaking news that on April 27, 2025, we tragically lost our esteemed colleague Adem KAYA and his two beloved children in a landslide disaster in Canik, Samsun.
The unimaginable loss of the Kaya family has deeply affected the entire CANiK and SYS Group community. We extend our heartfelt condolences and wish patience and strength to their family and loved ones. Adem KAYA’s memory will always hold a place of great meaning and respect in our hearts.
While we carry this grief with us, we remain committed to the values that unite and strengthen our family. At CANiK and throughout the SYS Group, every employee is more than a coworker—they are a vital member of our extended family. It is this unwavering sense of unity and solidarity that propels us forward with even greater confidence into the future.
As we stepped into 2025, we broadened our global vision more than ever before. On our journey spanning from the United States to Europe, and from Latin America to Africa, the launch of our CANiK USA production facility marked a new chapter in our presence in America. The strong interest and demand for our METE MC9 PRIME model—shipments of which began in March from our West Palm Beach facility—were incredibly encouraging. During the month I personally spent at our U.S. site, I witnessed the outstanding cooperation and harmony between our local team and our colleagues from Türkiye who traveled for training. Thanks to the strategic decisions made during this period, we are now on track to launch our second production shift at full capacity by the end of May. By the end of this year, as our team gains experience and qualifications for other models intended for U.S. production are completed, we plan to move forward with new investments in 2026.
