Firearm and shooting fans in France have the chance to experience shooting various CANiK models, the best of their respective classes, in the “CANiK Tour” events held by Colombi Sports since 2018.
Colombi Sports became one of CANiK’s distributors in France and then immediately started to make a difference. The company observed that even though many brands were taking part in the market, they did not hold any events. Thus, Colombi Sports conceptualized CANiK Tour as an event that allows shooters from all around the country to experience CANiK pistols and then started holding the event every year since 2018.
Different Cities, Different Shooters, Same Pistols
CANiK Tour’s seasons start in September and end in July. 5 to 8 events are held every season, organized in retail stores with shooting ranges selected by Colombi Sport in various regions of France. As such, many shooters all over France have the chance to participate in the CANiK Tour.
Retail stores invite at least 100 shooters to the events held for each. Colombi Sports markets the event through various channels, including websites, forums, magazines, Facebook and Instagram accounts, a Facebook page named CANiK France, and shooting clubs. Shooters participating in the event by paying an entry fee. During the event, they have the opportunity to use various CANiK pistols for various categories. For example, CANiK TP9 Sub Elite shot from 10 meters away, while TP9 SFx shot at a metal target from 25 meters away, and these shots are time limited. The shooting range’s physical constraints determine the shooting categories.
Colombi Sports sets up a booth at every event, and the participants can ask questions and get informed about the CANiK pistols that are showcased.
These events end with a raffle in which the luckiest winner is awarded a CANiK pistol. In addition, every participant receives special gifts.
