CANiK Was Present in All Aspects of TEKNOFEST Karadeniz

The last part of TEKNOFEST which was organized this year under the name of “TEKNOFEST Karadeniz”, where technology competitions were held in 16 different cities, mainly in the Black Sea (Karadeniz) region, was held in Samsun between 30 August-4 September. SYS’ brand CANiK was one of the main sponsors of the event and hosted its visitors in its 300 square meter booth. The booth also presented products and services from CANiK Store, CANiK Academy, CANiK Smart and CANiK App. In addition, SYS’ subsidiaries UNIROBOTICS and UNIDEF also present in the booth.

C. Utku Aral, General Manager of SYS commented on the importance of this event for CANiK brand as follows: “We take part in many events across the world but presenting our products in the city our brand was established, being a host, meeting with our youth and locals was really exciting for us as well. We met with the future of our country, ready to innovate and create products that will lay the foundation of our country’s future. We inspired them by sharing our brand and its achievements so far. CANiK Academy Organized an Event for Over 5,000 People

CANiK presented all its products at TEKNOFEST 2022, including CANiK M2 QCB (Quick Change Barrel) 12.7x99 mm heavy machine gun that was developed under the Platform Machine Gun (PMT 12.7) project opened by Defense Industry Agency, which enjoyed great attention.

CANiK Academy, a brand that offers training for conscious and effective use of firearms, held shooting events throughout TEKNOFEST 2022 watched over by CANiK Team members and select CANiK Academy instructors. Over 5,000 people took part in the safe shooting event offered by CANiK Academy in just 6 days. The event used airsoft pistols, and 60,000 rounds were expended in total.

 

CANiK Sponsored Rocket Team Achieved Silver

TEKNOFEST 2022 was also the stage for a Rocket Competition. Samsun Rocket Team, consisting of Samsun University students and sponsored by CANiK, won the silver medal in the medium altitude category, out of 49 teams. 10,000 ft altitude was the target for this category, and Samsun Rocket Team’s rocket reached 10,207 ft, giving it the second place with 2 percent error margin.
