CANiK M2 QCB Receives Great Interest at SEDEC 2022
CANiK, which scheduled 26 fairs around the world this year, came together with decision makers and end users from 39 countries at SEDEC 2022 held in Ankara on June 28-30. CANiK officials also held a total of 45 B2B meetings in 3 days.
CANiK, which scheduled 26 fairs around the world this year, came together with decision makers and end users from 39 countries at SEDEC 2022 held in Ankara on June 28-30. CANiK officials also held a total of 45 B2B meetings in 3 days. While the prominent products at CANiK stand were CANiK M2 QCB and its upgraded version CANiK M2F heavy machine guns, CANiK brand handguns and firearm accessories, especially METE pistols, also attracted great interest from the attendants.
Local end-users, especially the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command, and the Turkish National Police, had the opportunity to closely examine CANiK and MECANiK brand products. Many foreign delegations also visited CANiK stand during SEDEC 2022, an event where international cooperation is strengthened as well.

Utku Aral, General Manager of SYS, commented about their participation in the fair: “With our CANiK products, we continue our journey with the goal of becoming Türkiye’s gateway to the world in the field of defense industry. We increased our exports by 60 percent last year and became the third fastest growing company in Türkiye. We continue working nonstop to add new ones to these achievements. SEDEC, which we consider as an extremely important meeting for our country and industry, has also been a platform where we present our products to the world at home. We also proudly exhibited the indigenous CANiK M2 QCB Heavy Machine Gun, which we debuted last year. We further aim to expand our positive perception in the international arena with products that we export to 69 countries in the world.”
