The Power of Integration: SYS Group’s Multi-Platform Vision
The future of defence systems no longer depends on a single product but on the ability of different platforms to operate within a unified engineering framework.
SYS Group has become a pioneer of this transformation through its integration projects across land, naval, and unmanned systems.
A New-Generation Defence Approach: The Era of Integration
In today’s defence industry, success is no longer defined by
the perfection of a single product, but by the ability of distinct systems to operate under a common engineering framework. Through its brands CANiK, MECANIK, AEI Systems, UNIROBOTICS, and CANiK ACADEMY, SYS Group stands at the very center of this transformation. By uniting its engineering and production capabilities under a shared integration vision, the Group represents a new multi-platform standard in defence technologies.
Milestones in the Integration Journey
SYS Group’s integration vision took shape long before its showcase at IDEF 2025.
Field trials and live-fire activities conducted in late 2024 and the first half of 2025 validated the operational capability of its systems across multiple platforms.
From the first live-fire activities in Türkiye (January 2025) to the Live Firing Show in Lithuania (May) and the firing demonstrations at the Close Combat Symposium in the United Kingdom (July), the Group’s comprehensive field program offered end-users a direct opportunity to observe product performance under real conditions. At the Live Firing Show in Vilnius, the integration of the TRAKON 30 turret developed by UNIROBOTICS and the 30×113 mm VENOM LR cannon produced by AEI Systems, mounted on the Nurol Makina NMS 4×4 vehicle, received significant attention from international observers.
All these field activities represented the continuation and maturity of the visibility first achieved at IDEX Abu Dhabi, culminating
at IDEF 2025, where this experience was showcased across the broadest platform range to date.
Demonstrations also continued on EJDER-1 vehicles in the inventory of the Turkish National Police, within DEARSAN Shipyard’s SALVO USV project for the Azerbaijani Navy, and across several international platforms — reaffirming SYS Group’s sustained integration capability in the field.
A Unified Engineering Language Across Land and Naval Platforms
The versatility of SYS Group systems stems from their ability to operate within a unified engineering framework across platforms produced by different manufacturers. Some of the integrated applications showcased in various halls and booths at IDEF 2025 included:
• NUROL MAKİNA – NMS 4×4 ARMORED VEHICLE: TRAKON 30 + VENOM LR
• FNSS – PARS 4×4 & ZAHA: VENOM LR
• SEFINE SHIPYARD – MARLIN USV: Naval-Type TRAKON 30
• ELEKTROLAND – HANÇER UGV: TRAKON LITE + CANiK M2 QCB
• HAVELSAN – BARKAN-2 UGV: TRAKON LITE + CANiK M2 QCB
• ZTR – ARMED CONTAINER PROJECT: TRAKON LITE + CANiK M2 QCB
• HT DIVISION – NEXT-GENERATION UGV: TRAKON 30 + VENOM LR
• ROKETSAN – BURÇ TURRET PROGRAM: VENOM LR
