SYS Group on Land and Navy: A Common Engineering Language Against Asymmetric Threats
From the Naval Security Conference hosted by the Turkish Armed Forces War Colleges to the Close Combat Symposium at the UK Defence Academy, SYS Group continues to demonstrate an engineering vision that seamlessly bridges domains and technologies.
The year 2025 strongly reflected SYS Group’s goal of establishing a common engineering language across land and naval platforms. The Naval Security Conference held in Istanbul in May, and the Close Combat Symposium 2025 (CCS 2025) organized in the United Kingdom in July, stood out as two key milestones of the Group’s global integration vision.
At both events, SYS Group companies CANiK, AEI Systems, and UNIROBOTICS showcased their multi-layered and integrated solutions developed against asymmetric threats, impressively demonstrating their engineering capabilities and operational compatibility.
A New Solution for Naval Security: The 30×113 mm Integrated RCWS
With the main theme “The Impact of Technology on Maritime Security,” the Naval Security Conference was held under the academic advisory of Prof. Dr. Raul PEDROZO, an internationally recognized authority in maritime security.
The event hosted Vice Admiral Mike UTLEY, NATO Allied Maritime Command (COM MARCOM), and Admiral Ercüment TATLIOĞLU, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, as guests of honor.
It served as an international forum for discussing innovative technologies and strategic approaches in maritime security.
