As the Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) family, the high-tech, quality-focused, and sustainable work carried out by all our subsidiaries in a collaborative and familial atmosphere strengthens our position on the global stage and empowers our companies. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our team members who are part of this incredible family.
I would like to begin by congratulating our UNIROBOTICS team, which was established in 2020 and successfully delivered the TARGAN project—long in development by HAVELSAN for Offshore Patrol Vessels—this year. I also want to thank our Samsun team for their unwavering support of UNIROBOTICS. In the last quarter of 2024, we successfully integrated the TRAKON 30 Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) into the actively deployed EJDER-1 4x4 armored vehicle as part of our fruitful collaboration with the Turkish National Police. Through a live demonstration in December, we showcased the tangible contributions this system will make to our security forces.
The VENOM LR low-recoil cannon, developed in collaboration with CANiK and AEI Systems, attracted great interest at numerous domestic and international fairs and events throughout the year. With the contributions of UNIROBOTICS, this success was elevated further, and the TRAKON 30 system was presented to Turkish security forces. The VENOM LR, with its 30x113 mm caliber, low-recoil feature, and superior performance, earned global acclaim, proving once again the strategic value of our investments.
In 2017, we strategically repositioned the CANiK brand within the premium product segment, introducing the SFx, Elite Combat, and METE series. One of the highlights of this strategy, the TTI Combat model, developed in collaboration with Taran Butler, was launched at the 2024 Shot Show. Priced alongside the Rival-S model, TTI Combat became one of CANiK's most premium offerings, contributing significantly to our 2024 targets with an impressive 80,000-unit sales milestone. Additionally, we expanded the METE MC9 series with two new models, the MC9 L and MC9 LS. While offering comfort for daily carry due to their compact sizes, these models also enhanced shooting performance with longer grip dimensions compared to the original MC9.
CANiK has solidified its innovative and quality-driven production with the establishment of "CANiK Facility 4" in the Samsun Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) and strengthened its presence in the U.S.—the world's largest firearms market—through its operational facility in South Florida. The newly completed Samsun facility represents more than just an increase in capacity; it marks a restructuring initiative. This facility allows us to separate our teams focused on small arms and medium-caliber systems, enabling them to work with greater focus while also decentralizing management and increasing the responsibilities of our younger team members. In the U.S., our facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, now serves as a gateway for all SYS Group companies to engage with the U.S. military and law enforcement. After two and a half years of construction, this investment aims to enhance our Group’s strength, with a production and sales target of 60,000 pistols in 2025.
SYS Group is also heavily invested in the firearm accessories and outdoor markets. MECANIK, established to develop and sell indispensable firearm accessories such as optics, suppressors, and tactical lights, aims to expand its presence in international markets in 2025. In 2024, MECANIK secured its facility security clearance and assumed responsibility for domestic pistol sales to MKE, enabling our firearm factories to focus on production while MECANIK specializes in retail and online sales.
In 2024, we also completed the rough construction of our Istanbul Headquarters, which will house both SYS’s General Office and CANiK ACADEMY. This visionary project, designed to propel SYS Group into the future, is set for completion in March 2026. Despite the ongoing construction, we began academy training without delay in 2024, delivering over 600 hours of education to 550 trainees. Our shooters achieved first-place victories in more than 10 national competitions in the U.S., while Turkish shooters not only dominated local competitions but also brought home the 2024 European Championship. I extend my congratulations to the CANiK TEAM and the talented trainers at CANiK ACADEMY for their outstanding achievements.
Amid growing success in production and marketing, I must highlight our CANiK Superior World project, which has earned a special place in our hearts. I commend every member of our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and the broader CANiK family for their dedicated efforts in creating a better world for future generations.
I congratulate all our teams for contributing to the successful realization of our 2024 sales budget. This success is a testament to the collective effort of our R&D, production, planning, quality control, surface processes, procurement, sales, marketing, and finance teams, as well as our after-sales, digitalization, and business development departments. In 2024, we achieved a 30% year-on-year growth in USD terms while maintaining an export rate exceeding 95% of our total revenue. During our 2025 Vision Meeting, we announced the budget and targets for the coming year. Together with the companies and brands within our ecosystem, we will continue to operate in a family-driven atmosphere, building on our achievements and proudly representing Türkiye on the global stage.
I extend my deepest gratitude to all employees, stakeholders, and customers who have contributed to our success and placed their trust in us. We close 2024 with pride and joy, looking forward to a new year filled with peace, happiness, and even greater achievements for the CANiK family and our nation.
